Demonstrated Ability
Fire & Flood Emergency Services Ltd. has completed 61 operational deployments across Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, the Northwest Territories, and Yukon, supporting wildfire suppression, flood mitigation, and large-scale water transfer in complex, real-world conditions.
These deployments span federal, provincial, municipal, First Nations, and private sector clients, including Alberta Wildfire, BC Wildfire, Saskatchewan Public Safety, Northwest Territories Fire Management, Parks Canada, First Nations Communities in Treaty 6 & 8 and Canadian National Railway, reflecting the breadth of agencies and industries that rely on high-volume water delivery when conventional resources reach their limits.
On the wildfire side, deployments have included multi-kilometre 4-12-inch high-volume suppression systems, heli-portable suppression systems for remote locations, providing water supply and storage for aerial refill operations, and sustained infrastructure protection for transportation corridors and industrial facilities.
Flood mitigation deployments have demonstrated significant operational scale as well, from reactive temporary barrier installations of multiple kilometres to proactive deployments of over 24 kilometres, protecting communities and critical infrastructure against escalating conditions. Modular barrier systems can replace the equivalent of 1,500 to 15,000 sandbags per barrier, depending on the barrier's retention height, and can be installed rapidly, eliminating hundreds of manual labour hours.
Our demonstrated ability is built on field performance, delivering high-volume, pressurized water supply and dewatering at scale where conventional infrastructure is limited, compromised, or unavailable.

2023 independent case studies for our collective learning and continuous improvement. These three reports, one from Scotch Creek BC, one from Fort Smith NWT, and one from Drayton Valley AB, were produced from Wildland Fire Works, using publicly available data, and form a basis for Fire & Flood’s commitment to After Action Reviews and continuous improvement in effective and efficient emergency response required by all orders of government,
sectors, and individuals to increase our resilience to wildland fires. No one agency or initiative will be successful if operating in isolation.

“THE LEADING EDGE OF INNOVATION TO OUTPACE THE GROWING DEMANDS OF CLIMATE READINESS.”

Wildfire
Providing a safe corridor while supplying firefighters and aviation support with a sustained water source has been and will continue to be a game changer this wildfire season.

Flood Mitigation
Prepared planning as with our advance water monitoring systems, designed technology to collect data and alert users of potential risk of flooding before significant damage is caused.
